Our clients are a reputed SAP Consulting Company based in US. They are looking for a project of their Pharmaceutical client located in USA in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania candidates with the following profile:
Project Manager for SAP Security Expert within the Information Solutions Group
The duration is 9-12 months.
Start Date- Nov 14-21. The candidate expected to be a US Citizen or green card holder.
A reputed Pharmaceutical client near Allentown in PA ( Pennsylvania) , is a global leader in the growing and highly innovative vaccines industry. They develop, produce and commercialize the world’s largest range of vaccines and combination vaccines that provide protection against a variety of diseases. The product portfolio includes a range of vaccines for children and an adult and traveler’s range. They are located in USA in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The SAP application system stores and processes all the important North America (NA) business data of the client , which is crucial to the client and its ability to carry out business processes as well as to balanced security measures to ensure the guarantee of confidentiality, availability, and integrity of data as well as adherence to legal requirements. Because of the nature of this assignment, we are searching for a highly skilled SAP Security Expert with 7+ years of experience in SAP security design and implementation. The candidate expected to be a US Citizen or green card holder.
TIMEFRAME
This assignment will be for one year and encompass the following subjects:
• Review of the Toronto and Swiftwater SAP security landscapes
• Develop a security process that is to be common to both locations and can be adopted and integrated into the existing process
• Develop a targeted 2007 upgrade from 4.6C of all roles and profiles scope of work
• Develop a matrix of Roles to Transactions and People to Roles that can be used for user assignment and mitigate Segregation of Duties (SoD)
• Provide Subject Mater Expert (SME) knowledge as they relate to security and transfer the knowledge to the client's SAP security personnel
DELIVERABLES
As a SAP Security Expert, the candidate is to provide:
• SAP security knowledge transfer
• Develop a targeted 2007 upgrade scope of work for both Swiftwater and Toronto SAP environments
• Develop a matrix of Roles to Transactions and People to Roles that can be used for user assignment and mitigate Segregation of Duties (SoD)
• Develop and implements test of the SAP system to monitor effectiveness of security
• Review of key SAP logs and messages to identify and report on possible violations of security policies
• Review of the SAP system parameters as they relate to security with as required recommended changes
• Develop means of identifying who used a specific transaction and when
• Review and recommend changes that may impact SOA compliance and remediation
• Validates that the SAP environment meets all known internal and external audit observations
• Identify SAP Security best practices services
• Identify SAP Security tools available in the marketplace
• Identify SAP Security education which will embrace and enhance those identified best practices
• Identify roles which are inactive and can be removed
• Review and recommend a sound security architecture for the environment
• Evaluation of the existing SAP security approaches and identify recommendations
• Identify transactions and authorizations that require special attention
• Develop a recommendation of security roles updates and transport process
• Knowledge transfer to develop a familiarity with OSS notes as they apply to security
• Knowledge transfer of all SAP security related tables, programs, and reports
• Review for design effectiveness of all existing SAP security policies and procedures
POSITION REQUIRED (ROLE)
The primary purpose of this position is to function within Information Solutions with the SAP security engineers who may manage day to day secuirty at a more detailed level; Provide Subject Mater Expert (SME) knowledge as they relate to security and transfer the knowledge to the client's SAP security personnel; Knowledge transfer of all SAP security related tables, programs, and reports; Review and recommend a sound security architecture for the the clientenvironment; Develop a matrix of Roles to Transactions and People to Roles that can be used for user assignment and mitigate Segregation of Duties (SoD); Review of the Toronto and Swiftwater SAP security landscapes; Develop a security process that is to be common to both locations and can be adopted and integrated into the existing process
SKILL REQUIRED
The SAP Secuity Expert must encompass:
• Knowledge of SAP security design and implementation with a minimum of 7+ years of experience
• Knowledge of the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOA) for compliance
• Advanced functional and technical skills with SAP security with implementation, roll outs, upgrades, and post go-live support activities required.
• General familiarity with SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM Modules and Authorization Objects
• Strong system skills — especially with SAP security reporting tools
• Must have good understanding of Roles, profiles and activity groups
• Must have good understanding of Security and authorization reporting
• Knowledgeable in standard SAP Security protocol
