New Jobs   AS400 with MAPICS -- Chennai opening Job Specifications Required minimum Qualification Bachelor’s Degree; Engineering Degree preferred. Required Skills OS/400, DB2/400, RPG/400, RPG IV, CL, SQL, RLU. Minimum Years of Work Experience 4 – 5 years for Programmer Analysts / Sr. Software Engineers Additional Experience/Area of Specialization/Areas of Expertise, with specific years of experience against each skill MAPICS or any ERP or any Application/Functional knowledge. Application Program Interface (API) knowledge. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) knowledge.   Brief Description of the Job 1. Analyze the requirement and map to MAPICS business processes. 2. Write Test Cases and apply when developing the programs. 3. Code programs with MAPICS standards. 4. Perform Code Walk-through reviews of each other’s programs. 5. Perform unit testing and system testing. 6. Technical documentation. Any specific personality traits required for the position Exposure to manufacturing functions would be helpful.
