Project engineer Job Description Business environment Dedicated 12 member team supporting the company's activities on international / global projects located in Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa in pre and post order activities by offering central and comprehensive project management. Key accountabilities and challenges • Planning & co-ordination of all aspects of strategic international projects • Reviewing project specifications • Selection and bidding of seals/systems/couplings • Contract management/order execution with John Crane engineering & manufacturing centres • Coordination of drawing approval cycles with OEMs and contractors • Resource and capacity planning with Engineering & Operations centres • Ensuring a high level of customer support and on-time delivery performance Skill requirements Discipline/qualifications • BE or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) Professional and specialist skills • Good analytical skills and technical background • Target and results driven • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills • Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills • Customer service and business oriented Experience • Industrial back ground: Process, Chemical or Petroleum / Petrochemical industries Or industries supplying equipment to above industries (Pumps, Compressors, Valves, or other rotating / process equipments) • Discipline: Project management, Sales coordination, Erection & Commissioning, Product development, Maintenance of rotating equipments, • 2-6 years of experience CAD Engineer --- Job Description   Position Responsibilities • To review the DO requests given by Senior Engineer/Team leader for drawing generation (Installation and Detail Drawings) • To check the fitment against the given pump seal chamber drawing • To review the drawings and ensure that the drawing is inline with the request • To carry out Level I against check list (Installation and Detail Drawings) before submitting them to the Senior Engineer • To liaise with Senior Engineer/Assistant manager, if in doubt/queries • To carry out other reports such as PLM etc as appropriate • Process Engineering change notification • Maintain drawing database to ensure correct drawings/documentation is available for manufacturing department Professional Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering/Diploma in mechanical engineering • Strong demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD 2004/Solid edge is a must.
